Insurance Broker | Account Executive / Assistant Broker

HAYLO People are specialists in General Insurance recruitment. We’re partnering with a well-established Sydney-based brokerage to appoint a Senior Account Executive to manage a portfolio of commercial clients, as well as an Assistant Broker/Account Executive to support an Account Manager with their portfolio.

  • Competitive salary $75k to $140k + super (dependent on experience and role)
  • - Established portfolio to inherit and a dedicated Assistant Broker

  • Full-time hours: Mon to Fri, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with additional flexibility where required
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients 
  • Deliver end-to-end account management including renewals, market placement, and client presentations
  • Partner with underwriters and internal teams to structure tailored insurance solutions
  • Maintain trusted relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders
  • Identify organic growth opportunities within the existing book
  • Tier 1 qualification
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an Account Executive or similar role in insurance broking
  • Experience across SME and commercial risks 
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client presentation skills
  • Organised, proactive, and committed to high-quality client service
